About the Position:

Senior Information Technology (IT) Interoperability Planner providing Tactical to Strategic Communications across the full range of military operations within the U.S Army Europe (USAREUR) and Africa Area of Operations. In this capacity, incumbent is the lead technical integrator, program/ project manager and C5I planner on Interoperability IT initiatives. Leads the planning, budgetary programming, and implementation of assigned IT systems among others.

• Serves as Senior Information Technology (IT) Interoperability Planner providing Tactical to Strategic Communications across the full range of military operations within the U.S Army Europe (USAREUR) and Africa Area of Operations.


• Lead technical integrator, program/ project manager and C5I planner on Interoperability IT initiatives. Leads the planning, budgetary programming, and implementation of assigned IT systems or capabilities in support of USAREUR- Africa.


• Provides IT interoperability advice to executive level managers within USAREUR-AF and represents the organization in meetings and discussions with representatives of industry, HQDA Working Groups, or other Army MACOMs.


• Conducts continuing review of information systems interoperability developments applicable to systems design and prepares long range strategic plans for requirements relevant to USAREUR-AF's mission.


• Recommends IT interoperability and communication technical solutions for assigned projects after analyzing the operational requirements and aligning these requirements with the USAREUR-AF Theater
